What we store
What you put into your budget — names, income, pots and amounts — and your email address so you can sign in.
Who else touches it
Convex stores the data. Vercel hosts the site. Resend sends sign-in and check-in emails. PostHog records usage statistics on servers in the EU.
Cookies
Two: the one that keeps you signed in, for 30 days, and one that remembers whether the sidebar is open. Our usage statistics use no cookies at all — that is why there is no cookie banner here.
What the statistics leave out
No names, no email addresses, no amounts. We record which parts of the app get used, never what is in your budget.
Who can see your budget
The people you invite into your household. Nobody else.
How long we keep it
Your budget stays until you delete it. Day-by-day history is thinned out after 90 days. Notes about why the plan changed are kept.
Deleting everything
Settings → Delete my account. It removes your account, and if you are the only one in your household, the whole budget with it. This cannot be undone.
